Wriddhiman Prasanta Saha (born 24 October 1984) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian national team and for Bengal in first-class matches in India. He’s also the first cricketer to hit a century in the final of the Indian Premier League. In the Indian Premier League, he plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He bats as a wicket-keeper.
In February 2010, Saha made his Test debut as a specialist batsman. There were debates over his place in the Indian Test XI when he was given a permanent spot as a wicket-keeper, despite the fact that he was replacing the long-serving MS Dhoni, who had scored nearly 5000 runs in International cricket at an average of approximately 40.
Before being promoted to first-class cricket, Saha played for the Under-19s and Under-22s teams. Saha made his one-day debut against Assam in the Ranji Trophy competition in 2006/07. In the following match, he was dismissed for a duck in his first innings. He played three one-day games for the East Zone in the Deodhar Trophy as he neared the end of his brief Ranji Trophy career.

Saha, who was born on October 24, 1984, in Siliguri, Darjeeling, West Bengal, looked up to Adam Gilchrist as a childhood idol.
