Daniel Sams (born October 27, 1992) is an Australian cricketer who has represented his country internationally. In December 2020, he made his international debut for the Australian cricket team.Someone’s loss might be another’s gain. Ben Stokes was involved in an unusual situation and was unable to board his aircraft to Australia. Stokes then travelled to Canterbury in New Zealand to play when his side was playing the Ashes. As a result, the team’s management decided to cut Daniel Sams, a NSW import.
Daniel is a member of the Sydney Thunder Academy and plays for the Randwick-Petersham Club, although he missed the bus to the BBL with the latter. But fate had other plans for him, as he was picked as an injury replacement for Henry Thornton by the Sixers. Daniel signed the contract the day before BBL 07 and scored 4-14 in his first BBL game against the Thunder. Despite the Sixers’ loss, Sams proved a point or two to his critics.
Daniel must be brimming with anticipation for his path ahead, not just in the BBL, but also for a chance to play first-class cricket in Australia, after picking up 11 wickets in his three-match stay at Canterbury.

Daniel Sams Personal Life
Sams was chosen to play for the Vancouver Knights franchise side in the 2019 Global T20 Canada competition in June of this year. In July 2020, Sams was named to a 26-man preliminary squad of players to begin training ahead of a prospective COVID-19 pandemic tour to England, and he was later included in the tour party, however he did not play a match.
